Degree Program Categories
Religious Education
The Religious Education Degree Program is designed to equip and prepare lay persons as well as ministers through an increasingly detailed study of the Word of God and other Christian educational and practical skills studies for teaching or for the administration of various educational programs related to the educational ministry of the church and various kinds of church schools and seminaries.
Ministry
The Ministry Degree Program is designed to equip and train lay persons as well as ministers through an increasingly detailed study of the Scriptures and other Christian ministry and practical skills studies for vocations in various aspects of the ministry of local churches, missions, and other Christian organizations.
Theology
The Theology Degree Program is designed to equip and train lay persons and ministers through an increasingly detailed study of the Scriptures and other Christian theological studies providing those seeking special knowledge and leadership skills applicable to local church ministry and Christian outreach programs.
Biblical Studies
This special degree program is designed for pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and teachers who desire knowledge and competency in biblical theology, systematic theology, biblical text, and exegesis.
Degree Programs
Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary offers the Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels of study in Religious Education, Ministry, and Theology. A Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biblical studies is offered.
